More about the EVA Packaging Products

The EVA product is obtained by copolymerizing ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer from ethylene and vinyl acetate. The polymerization method include high pressure bulk polymerization, solution polymerization, emulsion polymerization, suspension polymerization. When the content of vinyl acetate is higher than 30%, emulsion polymerization is used, and when the content of vinyl acetate is low, using high pressure bulk polymerization.

The granules of EVA products can be made into various types of EVA sheets, and then the sheets are processed through various processes. For example, the punch type can be used as a package lining, and the hot pressed can be used as a sole. EVA products can not only biodegrade, but also do not harm the environment when discarded or burned. EVA materials can be used in the electronics, hardware and toy industries.

The price of PVC is very close. The price of EVA is more expensive than that of toxic PVC, but it is actually much cheaper than PVC without o-phthalate. The lighter weight of EVA has a density ranging from 0.91 to 0.93, while PVC is 1.32. The odor-free EVA does not contain organic odors like Armonia or others. The absence of heavy metals is in compliance with the relevant international toy regulations. It is phthalate-free and suitable for children's toys and does not pose a plasticizer release risk.

Highly transparent, soft and tough, the application range is very broad. Super resistant to low temperatures, suitable for icing conditions. Resistant to water, salt and other substances, can be determined in large applications. High heat-adhesive, can be firmly attached to nylon, polyester, canvas and other fabrics. Low bonding temperature speeds up production. Available in silkscreen and offset printing for more sophisticated products.
